I decided to shake it up with a Thai mango salad to start and a shared sushi assortment platter to finish it off and I was really impressed with everything I tried.” - Monique D. “We were craving Thai food when we went to Sushi & Thai so I can’t speak for the sushi end of things but the Thai food was fantastic. The curry was the best part – just the right amount of spice with all the beautiful fragrant Thai herbs coming through. My wife loved that the side of rice came in a cute heart shape too. “- Mitchell O. “I was pleasantly surprised by Sushi & Thai On Bloor. The Lemon Grass Soup was zingy and delicious and the sushi looked and tasted very fresh.”- James A.

You like to think you have a good sense of adventure. You tried mild enchiladas 2 years ago on a dare and had a bite of leftover spaghetti your girlfriend made last week. The problem is that the closest you get to Korean cuisine is the Asian guy at the local burger joint who gives you the option of soy sauce with your fries. Tempting, but soy sauce is just the beginning.Kimchi Korea House is Toronto’s own house of traditional Korean cuisine conveniently located in the heart of downtown Toronto. It turns out ginger is more than just an overly freckled redhead; it’s also a tangy and delicious spice. Who could have known? “Kimchi Korea House is straight-forward, solid, tasty, and affordable Korean food. What they do, they do well. We both ordered the bi-bim-bop, the staple of Korean food. We were pleasantly surprised to see it arrived in an amazingly hot stone bowl, which is exactly how it should be served. The egg on top was freshly cracked and there was a nice mix of vegetables. I love how the rice on the bottom gets crispy over the course of the meal. We both got a free salad and the standard set of 4 or 5 ban-chan (the dishes of pickled goodness that precede a traditional meal in a Korean restaurant). The kimchi was the perfect level of spice and the pickled daikon was excellent. The ban-chan were frequently refilled and service was good. The decor is very modern and the muzak was an interesting blend of dancy-pop-remixes. Service was generally pretty good. The price was excellent and we both left satisfied.”- Lana P.“I come here quite often with my girlfriend (we live in the area), and we definitely love the place! I usually order the pork bone soup ($8), which usually comes with a large portion of pork bone and is enough to fill me for a couple hours (and I'm a pretty big eater). I have also had the bulgolgi and the dolsot bimbimbap - which is also good. They also bring an assortment of side dishes, which are all good (if you ask - you might event get some of their delicious fried potatoes. Mmmm...). If you're looking for a clean restaurant with good service that is reasonably priced - definitely check out Kimchi Korea House. Bapbo across the street is much more expensive with poorer service and the quality isn’t anywhere near that of this Kimchi Korea House. This place is definitely worth a visit.”- Ernest C.
