They’re the opposite rather, always rambunctiously dancing their way into trouble. You wish you had their energy, the ability to stay moving for 12 hours straight. Instead, you’re left trying to contain, your limited energy no match for your little dancing queen. This summer, you’d like to have a break from your little hooligans. However, it seems that they fail to be appeased by the arts-and-craft activities of the traditional day camp. Dancing there way between each and every table, you’re surprised the instructors don’t have your kids black-listed. If only there were somewhere where that energy could be unleashed!Thankfully for you, there is! Buytopia brings you a great deal for the Summer Dance Intensive at OIP dance. This high-energy two week camp will keep your little dancers entertained, healthy, and in check. Taught by passionate dance instructors, your kids will experience the best that dance has to offer. Even better, this year’s team of instructors includes stars from So You Think You Can Dance. Dancing amongst the stars, your kids will leave as happy as you’ve ever seen them. As a bonus, they’ll also receive a bonus drop in class from OIP’s regular schedule, giving you another glorious night of relief. How’s that for a break?Buytopia and OIP are happy to provide the ultimate dance camp experience for your kids. Its time to get those little feet moving—that is, while keeping them out of trouble. “In a city of $20 "fluff" hip hop classes, OIP Dance gets it right. I've been dancing for over 20 years and have taken classes all over this city and OIP never fails to disappoint. With some of the most talented, unpretentious choreographers; dancers of all levels are always made to feel welcome. The crowd can vary from pre-teens w/ their hip Mom's to local Actra members trying to get into the groove. If you're looking to flip your hair and shake your ass to Pussy Cat Dolls, please keep on truckin' cuz this studio is not for you. But if you're looking for some disgusting urban flavor, stop wasting your time at those other "Hip Hop" classes and get your a** to OIP.”- Vanessa G.“Once upon a time, I came here for a drop-in hip hop class (don't ask, just trust that I did go). Despite the fact that I hadn't taken dance since I was 13, and I still wasn't any good, I did actually have a pretty good time. The place was easy enough to find and signing up for the class 10 minutes before it started was no problem at all. I think it was $10 or $15 for the class, which wasn't bad at all. Studio was a decent size, and was nice and clean. Change rooms were a little on the small size given the amount of people who were taking the class, but they did have baskets of vitals like hairspray and deodorant, which is great if you've forgotten something. They have a couple different drop-in classes, and different levels of each one. We took the beginner hip-hop, and it was a bit tricky for me, but my friend, a former competitive dancer, seemed to be breezing through the routine. The instructor was a young guy who was really patient and just had a fun attitude about everything, which made the class fly by in no time. If you're curious about trying dance classes, I'd recommend this place for sure. Drop-in classes are great for people who want to dance but don't want to commit to an expensive class, and this place makes sure that even if you only stop by once in a while, you still have a great time. And sweat. A LOT.- Melissa J.“This is a dance class. I felt like I was back in the vegas shows with these girls. Fun flirty and great clubs right around the corner. Five stars all night long sisters!”- Danni P.
