The Fine Print
One experience redeemed per customer, multiple may be purchased as gifts. Reservations are required one week in advance, subject to availability. SCUBA apparatus equipment is included. Snorkeling equipment must be provided by the student. Fins, mask, snorkel, regulator mouthpiece, gloves, and boots will be required for the open water dives, and can be purchased at the shop at a student discount or rented for a $100 fee. Classes start at 6pm at Silent World. Expires one year from date of purchase. Must be 10 years of age or older. Anyone under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign a consent form. All students must complete a medical form. If a condition exists, student must receive a doctors release and consent prior to class. Must be medically cleared. Must take a Pre-Class Orientation; its one-on-one, and by appointment. Please call to schedule, this is at no additional cost.
Learn the art of scuba diving with this Open Water Certification course from Silent World SCUBA Diving. Begin to master skills of underwater agility with home study to get a basic grasp of scuba diving, followed by safe, in-water training with your experienced SSI instructor. After review sessions of the material, you'll submerge in the safe, controlled environment of a pool to get comfortable breathing and maneuvering underwater. Then, you'll head out to practice in multiple open water locations including Alki Point (in west Seattle), Edmonds Underwater Park, and Keystone Jetty (on Whidbey Island) or a graduation boat trip in South Puget Sound. Your certified instructor will be with you every step of the way, focused on teaching you all things SCUBA, so you can explore the brilliant, dazzling underwater world that awaits.
