Hamptons Bus Deals in New York
Get out of the city and into the fresh air with this offer for a day of paintball, with round-trip transportation and a barbecue lunch included. Pay $69 and choose from a selection of dates in March, April, May, and June. Meet up with our LivingSocial staff at West 45th Street and 11th Avenue, where you'll board a bus bound for Skirmish USA -- one of the country's largest paintball facilities -- in Albrightsville, Pennsylvania. With all equipment, 500 paintballs, and access to the entire facility, you'll be unleashed on the course for five hours of paintball, including a lunch break in the middle of it all to dine on delicious barbecue. We'll traverse countless fields (many heavily wooded, and one with a tank), and two huge castles. When we're finally out of paint, we'll get back on the bus for the ride back to Manhattan, happy and exhausted -- just as a New Yorker should be.
Seeing the world by bike beats seeing the world by bus, as bus tours are often ruined by engine exhaust, construction detours, and guides who deliver facts by honking them in Morse code. Enjoy the calm of a two-wheeled trek with this Groupon. Choose from Three Options $9.99 for a two-hour bike rental (up to a $20 value) $14.99 for a four-hour bike rental (up to a $30 value) $19.99 for a full-day bike rental (up to a $40 value) Though Central Park Bike Rental sometimes features a discounted price online, this Groupon still offers the best deal available.

Grandparents are great for so many reasons: presents, hard candy, potentially inappropriate comments. But, most importantly, they're also great for building and passing on legacies, like in the case of master French chef Claude Godard and his relatively new French bistro, Jeanne & Gaston, which—you guessed it—is named after his grandparents, who were restaurant owners in France. Claude learned all he knows today from watching his grandmother work a dining room and grandfather at work in his kitchen. It's only fair he pay a little homage. The menu at J&G is inspired by classic recipes of grandpa Gaston's, showcasing traditional French staples with a few modern twists that Claude has picked up along the way. Stopping in for lunch one afternoon, we were whisked away to the old country with plates of heavenly niçoise salad, pike quenelle dumplings with a creamy seafood sauce, and a seasonal fruit clafouti that was still bubbling when it came to our table. And with great French food must go great French wine, so we were pleased when we saw the extensive wine list. While the food takes you to France, the dining room itself could easily be plopped down somewhere out in the Hamptons and no one would bat an eye. For our money, lunch out on the spacious, floral patio with a nice glass of wine may just be all the vacation time we need. Menu Highlights: Pike Quenelle Dumpling, $14 Nicoise Salad, $17 Steak Frites, $19 Seasonal Fruit Clafouti, $11 Hours: Monday-Thursday, noon to 10:30 p.m. Friday, noon to 11 p.m. Saturday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
