She picked it off the internet based entirely on its name. We both had wonderful breakfast sandwiches that were quick, tons of coffee refills and some good o.j. It was such an easy place to go with a toddler and the price was good.Stacie F on YelpWhat a hidden gem. I was driving around the city, checking out neighborhoods and drove past this place on a beautiful fall day. I stopped, grabbed a table outside and was not disappointed at all. I got a basic Greek Salad, but it was, hands down, the best I've ever had. The dressing was amazing - the server told me they make it in house. Honestly, they need to bottle and sell it. Megan C on YelpSo the bf and I went on a brunch venture this past weekend and by some sort of amazing and happy accident (our first pick in East Nashville had too long of a wait!), we landed at the Sky Blue Cafe. omg. Delish. The restaurant is so cozy...from the mismatched mugs to the uber friendly service, to the Trivial Pursuit cards on the table, it just feels like a great place to hang out. What makes it an even better place to hang out? Delicious coffee and food.
Scout Notes: Here at Scoutmob, we believe it’s the simple things that make for a good life. Easy parking, local-loving people, and crispy-on-the-outside- moist-on-the-inside falafel—yes, falafel— are just a few of the things that make us happiest. While it’s tempting to keep it our little Scoutmob secret, we’re happy to share with you our fellow falafel enthusiasts, Mediterranean Cuisine, where the falafel (and everything else on the menu) never disappoints. Everyone we talked to had the same thing to say about Mediterranean Cuisine: it’s well worth the drive from Nashville. And after trying it for ourselves, we couldn’t agree more. Located in Brentwood, Mediterranean Cuisine has been serving up the best in Greek, Lebanese, and Egyptian fare for 11 years. Vegetarian and gluten-free friendly, Mediterranean Cuisine serves a little bit of everything. And with weekly specials, it’s a great place to escape during your lunch break (aren’t you tired of those microwavable lunches, anyway?) or for a quick dinner. They also have a patio, which overlooks a geese- filled pond. Awwww.
