Barbeque Deals in Nashville
Description
Call us barbeque purists, but we believe nothin’ beats a traditional, no-frills barbeque sandwich. (We just can’t help but question the gussied-up stuff—what are they trying to hide under there?) So if you, too, prefer your barbeque unadorned, then we invite you to check out Fat Boy’s Bar-B-Q in Antioch (just look for the giant pink pig—you can’t miss it). In addition to serving up the signature pulled pork sando, this down-home favorite's got beef brisket and all the usual favorites, as well as a few unexpected menu items, like hot chicken, catfish and smoked bologna sandwiches (aka, tubed meat in its most glorious form). And we love that everything comes without sauce, so we really get a chance to taste the quality of the meat and the expertise that went into preparing it. (Trust us, it's all top-notch.) Add on a side dish or two (all of ‘em are old family recipes) and, hot-diggity-damn, we got here what you call a serious barbeque feast. Menu Highlights: Pork plate, two sides and a drink, $8.99 Slaw dog, one side and a drink, $7.79 Pulled pork sandwich and side, $5.29 Full rack of ribs, $23.00 Hours: Monday - Thursday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday & Saturday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
