Description
Ditch that concrete jungle for the great outdoors with this offer: an all-inclusive overnight whitewater rafting trip for two on the Wisconsin River Valley. Head to 600 North Clark Street, where our team will be waiting to help check you in then board the luxury buses. We'll arrive in Green Bay, WI and split into two groups -- one group will have lunch at legendary Kroll's West while the other group will go on a one-hour tour of Lambeau Field. Then the groups will switch places. You'll then load back onto the bus and head to your weekend digs. From there, it's a choose-your-own-adventure affair, with options to go hike at Cathedral Pines, relax at the pool and sauna, or try your hand at casino games. Dinner will be served at nearby resort Waubee Lodge with a salad bar, sides of potatoes and rice, and your choice of fish, chicken or steak dishes cooked to perfection. After enjoying a good night's sleep, you'll be up bright and early for breakfast at the hotel before heading out for a waterfall hike on the way to Kosir's Rapid Rafts. After a brief tutorial on safety measures, you'll board your 8-person raft with a helmet, paddle, and life jacket and head onto the river for a 2.5-hour journey through Class III and IV rapids, all the while paddling through rocky escarpments, a narrow gorge, and protruding foliage. Once you're done on the water, you'll dry off and re-board the buses to head back to orange-and-blue territory. After all, there's nothing wrong with spending a little time in the green and gold -- as long as it pertains to the colors of nature.
