Liven up your weekend with a little visit from the walking dead: Pay $35 ($70 value) to register for the Zombie Insanity 5K race and obstacle course in New Smyrna Beach; you'll be able to sign up for a 10 a.m., 11:30 a.m., or 1 p.m. heat on Saturday March 23. Join other runners to navigate more than three miles of obstacles and challenges as you travel from checkpoint to checkpoint. It won't be easy, though -- along the way you'll be chased by a marauding horde of undead zombies in full costume and makeup. Once you make it though the course, stick around for food, drinks, and entertainment at the Zombie Fest after party.
