Once upon a time, a couple of guys had such a great time at the YMCA they wrote a song about it. Now, your child will want to sing about camp at YMCA Urban Services. With today's deal, $199 picks up a week-long summer camp for kids entering grades kindergarten through eight (regularly $450). Take your pick of six one-week-long sessions beginning June 18-22 and ending July 23-27 and your child will meet, play, and match wits with fellow campers from across the East Bay. Camp is held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with extended care from 7-9 a.m. and 4-6 p.m. at no extra charge, and kids should bring lunches. Kids are divided into groups by age and will participate in activities like arts and crafts, sports and games, enrichment, fitness, clubs, projects, service learning, field trips, and more, with an emphasis on building confidence and leadership skills while having fun. Each week has its own awesome theme, from art to space exploration to sports or animals -- with a unique field trip. With a convenient location near San Pablo Avenue and MacArthur Freeway, it's easy for everyone to have fun at the Y-M-C-A.
