We were immediately seated and before I could open the menu, the hostess had brought us complimentary French onion soup. We ordered our steaks & a stuffed mushroom appetizer. My spouse ordered the ribeye steak and I had the filet mignon. Both of us ordered the baked potato and broccoli as side orders. VERY hot rolls came with the meal...right out of the oven. The rolls were mouth-watering good. The steaks came and both were cooked to perfection. Finally, we ordered and split a chocolate mousse pie—very delicious. A pianist played during almost all of our dinner and this was a treat. The ambiance was typically that of a 1950s upscale restaurant or steakhouse set in an large house. Cassy on CitySearchWe went to Woody's tonight for our anniversary. The piano lounge was very romantic and the waitress was very friendly. We started off with the crab cake appetizer. They we so delicious with their remoulade sauce. For the entree we had steaks. Our steaks were cooked medium rare and were perfect!! I've had Woody's steak about a year ago, and I've yet found a better steak around. We will be back definitely.
