Classes consist of working with live animals, and WCF reserves the right to reschedule lessons in circumstances not conducive to the health and well-being of their raptors. This may include, but is not limited to hard rain, extreme heat and high winds. WCF makes no guarantees that clients will be able to book separate classes on the same day, especially on weekends. During this hands-on experience you'll learn the history of falconry and conservation, as well as how to hold a hawk, cast it from your glove, and call it back. Or, if the strong, silent type is more your kind of raptor, partake in the Owl Encounter for $30 (regularly $60). Get up close and personal with the Eurasian eagle owl at WCF; she'll show off her impressive skills, and you'll have the chance to hold her on your glove.
