Jump, jive, and wail with the best of 'em at the Triangle Swing Dance Society's dances held in Durham, Carrboro, and other Triangle locations: • $6 (regularly $12) for admission to live band swing dance and beginner dance lesson Learn the basics of swing dancing from an experienced instructor in an hour-long session starting at 7 p.m. on December 1. Then, show off your new moves from 8 p.m. until 11 p.m. during the year-end swing dance; live music provided by the Mint Julep Jazz Band. • $16 (regularly $32) for admission to live band swing dance and one-year membership Receive 1/3 off admission to all Society dances; secure voting rights in the election of board members; give input into dances, band selection, and themes; and enjoy a year-end swing dance on December 1, from 8 p.m. until 11 p.m. with live music provided by the Mint Julep Jazz Band.
