Taught by Sensei Eric Lambert who studied directly under Kaiso Obata, the founder of Shinkendo, you'll soon move fluidly like a true samurai. In one month of comprehensive Shinkendo Samurai Sword Training classes, you'll learn the sword (ken), body (tai) and foot (ashi) movement (sabaki), of Japanese Swordsmanship. Beyond movement, you'll also focus on the combined discipline, focus, history, and philosophy, of not only Shinkendo, but of Budo and Bujitsu as well. Safety is of utmost importance, so begin your sword study using wooden swords until you're ready for target cutting with live, sharp swords.
