Especially since helping others is as easy as purchasing a ticket to party at the Hero-Palooza festival from the There Goes My Hero Foundation, which supports leukemia patients and their families. Pay $22 (regularly $45) for admission to the September 22 event, featuring an all-you-can-eat crab feast prepared by Captain Chris' Crab Shack, an all-around mouthwatering cookout provided by The Pantry Catering, and a beer garden where you'll enjoy one glass of wine, beer, or non-alcoholic beverage such as the Hero Smoothie, included with admission. You'll also find live entertainment and children's activities (think face painting and a playground) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Oregon Ridge Park in Cockeysville.
