Theater J at Goldman Theater Coupons and Deals
Theatre J's 2013-14 season is entertaining and hard-hitting, full of variety and relevance as it tackles history and the present, birthing plenty of new shows and also paying tribute to some of the most established literary talent on the scene today. This special flex pass gives you six tickets to use in any combination for the season's current and upcoming shows: "Our Suburb, Yellow Face, The Admission" and "Freud's Last Session". Directed by Tony-award winning actress and Broadway director Judith Ivey, "Our Suburb" is a world-premiere homage to "Our Town". Truth and fiction blur with hilarious and moving results in David Henry Hwang's unreliable memoir "Yellow Face", which makes its regional premiere at Theatre J. "The Admission" is best described as an Israeli homage to "All My Sons" set in Haifa during the first Intifada. This workshop presentation asks how we can move toward peace while still wrestling with the ghosts of war. And the celebrated off-Broadway hit "Freud's Last Session" finds the legendary psychoanalyst and "Chronicles of Narnia" author C.S. Lewis engaged in an impassioned exchange about God, love, sex and the meaning of life.
