On any weekday between 5 and 8pm, you’re heading to the Windsor—the Gansevoort Park Avenue’s handsome new sports bar. Awaiting you: a delicious gourmet burger, three draft beers or cocktails and a plethora of giant flat-screen TVs for prime sports-watching. Reward yourself. Perks is hooking you up with a post-work reunion with two of your dearest friends: burgers and beer. It will take place Monday through Friday, from 5 to 8pm, in the stately confines of the Gansevoort Park Avenue’s new sports bar—the Windsor. (It’s the second outpost of the West Village staple, and it’s also got a prized collection of sports memorabilia—including a circa 1960s baseball autographed by Mickey Mantle.) You’ll get: The Windsor Signature Burger with herb-infused fries, or the Organic Turkey Burger with truffle aioli, gruyère cheese and sweet potato fries. Three signature cocktails or draft beers. They’ve got eight cocktails to choose from—but we like the Porn Star Martini (the same one invented by London’s LAB Bar in 1997). Your beer options: Guinness, Stella Artois, Flying Dog Doggie Style Pale Ale, Bud Light, Blue Moon and Brooklyn IPA. Nine giant flat-screen TVs to look at—there are four mounted on the wall and five others scattered among the burgundy leather booths. The priceless sense that all is right in the world.
