Ladies, break out the spandex and hair-ties. With this Women on the Rocks™ experience, you'll enjoy a full-day rock climbing clinic for where learning the fundamentals of climbing are as important as having a good time. Set in New Jersey's beautiful Allamuchy Mountain State Park, just 50 miles from the Big Apple, this clinic begins at 8:30am and ends at 4, offering up a full day of getting comfortable with climbing equipment. Friendly, professional instructors will teach how to belay (lowering a climber by rope), build anchors, rappel and tie knots - as well as the essentials of climbing a rock face. By the end of the day, you'll be on your way to mastering an extreme sport that's all about your determination, your teammates and the mountain...and a few muscles you probably didn't even know you had (but look really good when climber-toned).
