Deadlines, meetings, dog-grooming appointments -- racing against time is running you ragged. Race through time instead with today's deal: Pay $22 (regularly $45) to register for The Retro Run San Diego on December 9. Jog, walk, or do the hustle through 3.1 untimed miles and 30 years of culture and kitsch; each mile celebrates a different decade, from the '60s to the '80s. Costumes are encouraged (assuming you're able to run in those acid-washed jeans), or you can deck yourself out in the Retro Run T-shirt and sunglasses you'll get with your registration. After zipping through NTC Park, participants can meet up for a post-race festival (10 a.m. to 2 p.m.), which includes '80s music and a costume contest.
