Ballet: Students will focus on vocabulary, technique, stretching, barre, body placement, across the floor, turns, leaps and more Hip Hop: One of todays most popular dance styles, hip hop is danced to urban themed music such as rap or R&B. Jazz: An up pace style of dance that requires extensive flexibility. Jazz is a type of dance that is influenced by Broadway, theatre, and todays modern style. Modern: A style of theatrical dance that rejects the limitations of classical ballet and favors movement deriving from the expression of inner feeling.
