For $70, you can get a shooting range package for three people at The Gun Range, including an introductory lesson, handgun rental, all necessary protective equipment, a target, and a box of ammo (regularly $184). At this range located just off Spring Garden Street, you'll learn from an NRA-certified professional with years of experience using all types of firearms, from Civil War-era artillery pieces to machine guns to micro handguns. Once properly trained, you'll have a full hour to fire away on one of the 13 shooting lanes with modern lighting, each 23 yards long. With a focus on safety, The Gun Range does not allow black powder firearms or hand-loaded ammunition -- or wimpy little water guns, so wear your big-kid cap and get ready for some real range action.
