Description

You have been an Indy car racing fan for ages. You treat the road as if it is your own personal racetrack, whether going out for groceries or taking the kids to soccer practice, you always make it there faster than on time. However, the polite officers down at the precinct have been finding your habits increasingly counterproductive to their local traffic laws. Several demerit points later, you realize that there has got to be a better way to hone your craft and expend all of this energy, but where? The Go-Karts at Polson Pier are Toronto's only downtown go-kart track. This exciting new course is designed for drivers of all ages and experience and made for all around fun. The track is rather lengthy at 3/4 kilometre and our karts go up to 40 km/hr, making for an exciting adventure at every turn. An enticing feature that they offer is both single and double cart options to accommodate all driving interests as well as challenging turns and a course made for hours of fun and excitement. They will make any birthday party, corporate event or stag party, whether children or adult a success, offering free use of octagonal table under awnings for dining and celebratory purposes. The Go-Karts at Polson Pier will bring the fun back into driving for all who are looking for excitement. If only they could spare you a few bucks; the speeding tickets you racked up aren’t cheap and you are short on the dough. Looks like you are washing the precinct’s dishes again. "Excellent track with many twists and turns. The karts have super-responsive punch when you step on the go pedal. They handle pretty well with decent grip level. They don't have responsive steering input though. It feels like the karts grip the corners well when heading into the turns. The steering is easy and simple to control. Good times are always guaranteed at this go kart track. It is really fun to drive with a bunch of friends on the track bumping into each other. This is the best way to relieve stressful and bothersome thoughts in your head. It is the feel of being careless and sensation of joy that will take over your mind. The experience of laughing and screaming with your friends through every corner can’t be beat. You just can be yourself. No pretension or pressure of having to be civilized."- Lee P."I went with family to the kart track at Polson Pier. At first glance you'll think it's too small or not enough straight ways but trust me, all those curves make it more fun! The officials rarely notice if you bump and we had quite a few wipe outs. Make sure you buy the time package of 20 minutes or even 40 and just go all out. It's best when you're racing with others. These are gas go karts so they are more fun than the battery ones so many indoor places use. Bring a ball cap or something for under the helmet if you wish, although they do provide hair nets."- Jimmy J.
