Serving up high-quality food in a classy-but-casual environment, this hangout proves the age-old idiom, don’t judge a book by its title. Or whatever. Plus, with a great happy hour (the most extensive one in Frisco!) to soothe your post-work stress, this place gets an extra thumb's up. More importantly, your date might think so, too, thanks to a near-constant soundtrack of Rat Pack music. All that aside though, the real bright spot at this bar and grill is the menu, whether it's lunch, dinner or weekend brunch you're after. For example, treat yo self to the Dive Burger. It's a half-pound of certified Angus, plus chopped bacon and—wait for it—a "cheese skirt." What's a cheese skirt? Think melty, sizzled cheese extending outward from your burger far beyond what's decent. Trust us, it's the treatment all burgers deserve. The seafood, too, is worth a mention (cleverly playing on the other usage of dive, lol). The seafood nachos may sound a little strange, but they taste fantastic. And the Blackened Red Fish and Pecan-Crusted Rainbow Trout? Those will get diners well-acquainted with another phrase: “what, no seconds?” Seriously, even the salads are good here.
