Housed above their sibling restaurant El Cid on Eighth Ave., the 100-person dining room of Terraza takes full advantage of their delicious tapas-style Spanish menu (what are little siblings for!). Enjoy shared plates of creamy Patatas Bravas, fresh scallops, Albondigas (spicy meatballs), or Chicken Croquettes. You'll wash it all down with glasses of fresh sangria made in-house, or with a selection from their extensive list of mostly-Spanish wines. The space itself is open and roomy while at the same time harkening a cozy, intimate atmosphere. Should you be looking for a space for a private party (oh hey, holidays!) or group lunch, they are more than willing to accommodate, and come evening time the music fills the space with the vibe of a very swank club. Which means a stop in for Happy Hour easily turns into an all night event. But don't worry, once the weather turns nice again, they'll open up their patio for a little dancing under the stars.
