One experience may be redeemed for one person. Limit one voucher per customer, three additional vouchers as gifts. Each voucher must be used by a different individual. All services must be redeemed in a single visit and used by same customer. Reservations required 24 hours in advance. Tours subject to availability and minimum number of participants. Merchant cancellation/re-scheduling policy of 7 days applies; voucher subject to forfeiture. Must be 21 years of age or older. Height restrictions apply; must be at least 5 feet tall. Weight restrictions apply for the zip line and giant swing; must be a minimum of 70 pounds and a maximum of 275 pounds. All participants must sign a waiver. Gratuity for guides not included. Description
Leave behind the mandatory mundanity of adult life: errands, chores, and appointments, and instead take off on a day devoted to play with this experience from Terrapin Adventures. You'll start out with an easy mountain bike ride along the Little Patuxent River that serves up gorgeous vistas and opportunities to learn about the history of the area. A stop at Lake Elkhorn lets you indulge in an adult version of snack time, complete with wine, cheese, and bread. Then it's back on the bike and a return to base camp, where a 330 foot zip line is waiting for a high-flying rush. But the thrills aren't over yet - you've still got the giant swing (and 2 G's of force) to tackle. You'll be winched high above the ground and then released to sail over the landscape below. It's a day of adrenaline-filled excitement that obliterate the mundane with tree top thrills and, of course, delicious sips of wine.
