Your typical race will get your blood going -- but only at the Vampire 5k will it be going toward someone else's dinner. Pay $30 ($60 value) to reserve your spot at this race for your life on Friday, April 26. Beginning at 7:30 p.m. -- just as the sun is setting -- you'll join other racers at the starting point at Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield. When the race begins, you'll head off to a series of checkpoints and themed areas while trying to avoid a horde of vampires trying to track you down -- or, register as a vampire and partake in all the chasing. Afterward, join friends and foes alike for a post-race after party. No matter what side you choose to join, a portion of your admission will go to benefit local blood banks. Want more?
