With this beginner's surf class from Summer Surf with Chris, leave the keyboard behind for a class that could lead to a lifetime of epic surfing sessions. In a small group setting, the owner and lead instructor Chris will break down the basics of surfing, first on shore, then in the water. Balance will be worked on, paddling will be practiced, and waves shall be caught. Close the laptop, strap on the leash and hit the surf - get fit, have fun, and stay busy on the weekends.

Parents are also invited to slip on a wetsuit and join their waterbound rugrats at Torrance Beach too. Your children will spend a wet and wild Saturday or Sunday learning about basic surf etiquette, ocean safety, proper form and balance, how to read the surf, and how to catch waves.
