I grew up north of the river and most of my experience before I was 15 were in that restaurant. I have to say, it definitely had a cuter atmosphere, but the food is the same stellar quality regardless of the location. My family usually gets the regular chicken dinners which come with green beans (to die for), soup or salad (chicken noodle is homemade, so is the ranch dressing), choice of potato (get the mashed potatoes and gravy), and delicious cinnamon rolls. Holy moly, it's incredible. I moved across the state to St Louis and am so sad that I can't visit Stroud's on a whim. Truly delicious.
