Jack's saved you a seat at this bustling local gem—grab this deal and get going!EAT YOUR HEART OUTTake a trip back in time when you settle into a booth at Stroud’s Oak Ridge Manor. The old-timey eatery—nestled in Northern Kansas City has been a local fave since 1933! Family-friendly, and well-suited to accommodate massive appetites, this is where you go to get the real-deal, traditional fried chicken (there’s a reason why Man Versus Food’s Adam Richman picked this spot for his giant-sized feast). But it doesn’t stop there. This James Beard Award winner’s menu is full of flavor (think chicken fried steak, pork chops and barbecued pork ribs) and with the average meal priced at around $15, there’s no reason why you can’t have it all!REVIEWSSarah J on YelpPlease, dear God, help me. Give me strength to make it through another day without Stroud's. Or, better yet, please God, grant Stroud's the business savvy to expand their operations and open a location near me. I promise I'll be good for the rest of my life. Amen. If you love hot, juicy, crackly fried chicken, then Stroud's is the Holy Grail...the end to your poultry pilgrimage. Jenna B on YelpI only have one word for this place.....Amazing! Great down home comfort food. The gravy is delicious and the chicken is fried to perfection. I have never had anything less than exceptional service. If you haven't been then you need to go right now......no seriously go NOW.Annie J on YelpAhhh, what to say about Stroud's?! I grew up north of the river and most of my experience before I was 15 were in that restaurant. I have to say, it definitely had a cuter atmosphere, but the food is the same stellar quality regardless of the location. My family usually gets the regular chicken dinners which come with green beans (to die for), soup or salad (chicken noodle is homemade, so is the ranch dressing), choice of potato (get the mashed potatoes and gravy), and delicious cinnamon rolls. Holy moly, it's incredible. I moved across the state to St Louis and am so sad that I can't visit Stroud's on a whim. Truly delicious.
