Sticky’s Finger Joint’s website boldly declares, “If you can’t pronounce it, we don’t use it.” Using only locally sourced, free-range chickens, the fingers at this West Village eatery are devoid of untasty chemicals and come in grilled, baked, and fried varieties. Choose from nine types of fingers and 12–15 different sauces; flavors rotate often so be sure to visit regularly. Fingers range in options as diverse as classic Southern-style fried chicken and panko-crusted fingers infused with wasabi. Your picks dunk nicely in all natural sauces such as Chocolate Chip BBQ and Soy Ginger, while handcut fries apparently go well with a special seasoning called “glitterbang.” We can’t say we know what’s in it, but if it’s organic and cruelty-free, it’s probably a good idea.
