For not quite as long, but equally as encompassing and welcoming, they've also been the symbol for this Italian restaurant on Mulberry St., beckoning the people of New York to come in for a bite to eat. With a team of old-school Italian waiters taking care of you, you know you're in for a good meal. With a lot of attention to seasonal ingredients for their menu of home-style family recipes, there are plenty of choices when looking for that classic Italian flavor. They're currently serving up a homemade ravioli stuffed with pumpkin and mascarpone cheese and finished with a light butternut sage sauce. For more traditional fare, order up the Lasagna Bolognese with ricotta cheese, meat sauce and melted mozzarella, or the Fettuccine SPQR, with sweet sausage, artichokes, asparagus, and shaved pecorino romano. Since you wouldn't think to leave without dessert (we're with you on this), get the Honey Panna Cotta with fresh berry-mint compote and/or a classic Tiramisu. Bella!
