Scouts Notes:It's a question that has plagued us all at one point when trying to decide what to eat: Indian or Chinese? Luckily, an odd little thing is starting to take over this city. Indian Chinese food, which is wildly popular across the waters, is slowly starting to trickle onto our island with its latest incarnation in Spice Symphony. Walk into this restaurant on Lexington and you'll first be impressed by the dark woods, mirrored walls, and ornate lights that give it a hip, modern vibe. Once they have a liquor license, this'll be the perfect spot for a all sorts of intimate encounters. They have all of the traditional Indian dishes on their menu (Tandooris, curries, etc), but if you want a true taste explosion, seek out the dry rubbed Chicken Chilli or Lamb or the Nalli Rogan Josh (lamb shanks). For seafood buffs you'll want the Green Chilly Shrimp with scallions, garlic and tomato stir fry or the Goan Fish Curry, simmered in a chili, coconut, and tamarind sauce. The owner of Spice is as gregarious as can be, and his mission is to give his customers the best experience, so if you need anything, just ask. All he asks is that you don't call his food fusion.
