If you consider shadowy corners and blood-curdling screams a walk in the park, try a walk through Slaughter House Haunted House, known as “the most graphic haunted house in Texas.” Even the most hardened thrill seekers recoil in horror inside this venue, one of the longest-running haunted houses in Dallas. Featuring original sets from the 2007 Rob Zombie remake of the classic Halloween franchise, this eerie abode has been updated and expanded in honor of its 11th anniversary. The house’s hair-raising imagery and crew of interactive characters make Slaughter House a perfect pre-Halloween fright fest for adults and kids ages ten and older. Just be careful that whatever you encounter roaming the halls doesn’t follow you out to the parking lot... especially if it’s the man with the chainsaw.
