Shoney’s Coupons 2014
Shoney’s began as a drive-in restaurant in Charleston, West Virginia in 1947. The owner, Alex “Shoney” Schoenbaum was a Bob’s Big Boy franchisee with five Parkette Drive-Ins. In 1954, through a customer contest, the five Big Boys were renamed Shoney’s Big Boys and rebranded. After helping to launch the Captain D’s seafood chain, Schoenbaum opened restaurants in Florida with the Shoney’s name alone.
Today, Shoney’s is under new management and has 230 locations in 18 states.
Shoney’s Menu Items
Shoney’s serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, with many Southern comfort food options. The menu includes chicken pot pie skillet, Slim Jim sandwiches and Kentucky Hot Browns, burgers, chicken fried steaks, Southern-style catfish and blackened chicken breast. Vegetarian options are available.
