Formerly Urban Chicken, the Grant Hill hole-in-the-wall (corner of 25th and Market) specializes in gourmet street tacos (starting at $1.50) and stuffed burgers (topping out at $11). Yeah, stuffed. Or rather ballooned with bacon, jalapeños, cheese and assorted mouth pleasers. Owner Marcus Peoples and chef Mark Younggren (formerly a sous at The Linkery and exec chef at Café Delano in Hillcrest) works in California cuisine. SD restaurants' hankering for dead heads continues here with a mounted ram's melon, wallpaper creeps back from the 1950s (one full wall is papered), and blown-out windows give a nice aerated, open-to-the-public vibe. The 25-seat joint is now open, and ready to serve exceptional fare.
