Using the original story and rich language, we transport the young prince on a journey through the galaxy to strange new worlds. As he travels from planet to planet, Pericles falls in love, has a child, and then thinks that both his wife and daughter have died. But this is not a Shakespearean tragedy, so fear not that the virtuous will be rewarded. With homages to some of the most iconic sci-fi epics of the last half century, Shady Shakespeare’s Pericles is sure to bring out the inner geek in everyone./p pThis performance will be feature premium seating (1st 4 rows) for a performance of the play that night beginning at 7pm. Preceding the play, at 6:00pm, we will offer a special interactive experience with the Dramaturg and / or Director of the play. They will give a brief presentation of the story of the play they are about to see, some background on the play, and some insights into the concept and creation of the production itself. The presentation will last about half an hour. We will serve our guests for this special experience a glass of wine (or non-alcoholic beverage) and a small cheese and cracker snack plate./p
