Seven Seas Cafe Coupons and Deals
Scout Notes: How did we know it was love at first sight? This small Mediterranean restaurant is bedecked with signs urging you to "Eat More Gyros." You don't have to tell us twice. It's quasi-scientifically proven that more gyro consumption elevates the mood, fills the belly, and increases one's affinity for tzatziki sauce. Happily, at Seven Seas, your gyro-lust can easily be sated. And if you're jonesing for something a little less Greek, a little more Persian, Seven Seas can oblige. Their menu, which integrates souvlaki and dolmas right alongside falafel and baba ganoush, is a mash-up of cuisines from Greek to Turkish—or, as owner Ali explains it, the regions on the seven seas surrounding the Mediterranean coast. But the culinary influences don't stop at Istanbul or Athens. Wings, pizzas, and burgers also make their way on to the menu, though with Mediterranean touches here and there. Case in point: the gyro pizza, which is exactly what it sounds like but even tastier than what you're imagining. Two of our favorite eats, happily married into a delicious amalgam of gyro meat handed to you on a platter. How can you top that? Oh, right, with a taste of homemade baklava. Now where'd I park my magic carpet? Menu Highlights: Falafel, $3.99 Gyro Plate (with Greek fries or salad), $7.99 Greek Salad, $4.99 Gyro Pizza, $499 Baklava, $3.99 Hours: Monday-Saturday, 11 a.m. - 8 p.m. (Closed Sunday)
