The 4th Annual San Diego OysterFest! A music festival, oysterfestival and beer festival all rolled into one! June 15, 2013 from 11am to 7:30pm at the beautiful Marina Embarcadero North by Seaport Village. This years San Diego Oysterfest will have a truly home town feel. Live music, food from some of San Diego's top restaurants, beer from Coronado Brewing Company. Green Flash and Ballast Point in addition to Pacifico and Victoria. Cooking demos from San Diego celebrity chefs, shuck and suck competition, speed shucking competition and lots more. Acts include Mayer Hawthorne, Poolside, Tyrone Wells, Blood Diamond, Family Wagon and Social Club. DJ appearances from Chris Clouse, Fresh One, Mike Czech, Who and Artistic. In between musical acts, visit cooking demos by celebrity chefs, cheer on teams in the Shuck & Suck competition, and learn about oyster farming. $17 General Admission Ticket: Normally $25, this ticket gets you access into the event to enjoy all the performances.

Kick up your heels to the latest outlaw and alternative country music at the West Coast Country Music Festival and Barbecue in downtown San Diego, presented by the same folks who put on Oysterfest. This promises to be another fun-filled day in the Embarcadero Marina Park, near sunny Seaport Village and the Gaslamp District. The headliner for the festival is country music pioneer Dwight Yoakam. Yoakam's outsider approach to the music business, making his start in the rock and punk clubs of L.A., revitalized the genre in the 1980s. The lineup also features Hayes Carll, whose songs were featured in the film "Country Strong". Carll represents the next generation of the maverick country scene. Along with the stellar music performances, you can also enjoy the best downhome barbecue in San Diego, try your hand at cattle roping and do a little line dancing.
