Today, most Mexican restaurants are like the Borg. Same menu, same suppliers, no surprises...just Mexican-like mediocre food. Not this place. They are trying to be creative with a Mexican platform. Small place, not particularly beautiful, but good unusual Mexican dishes with quality presentation for the price. Tried a few of their enchiladas and they were great. You can actually order a salad there (something you never do at a typical Mexican place). They flavor their black bean side dish with a smoky spice (probably Spanish paprika).
