In the age of 3-D movies, sometimes we miss good, old-fashioned forms of entertainment. Today's deal from Puppet Showplace Theatre in Brookline Village will take you back to simpler fun-filled times: For $10, score two tickets (a $20 value); or pay $20 for four tickets (a $40 value) to one of six puppet shows "Puppylocks and the Three Bears" (July 14), "SnowWhite and Other Tales" (July 21), "Clown Circus" (July 28), "The Magic Soup and Other Stories" (August 11), "Jack and the Beanstalk" (August 18), or "Sir George and The Dragon" (August 25). Each show is 45 minutes to an hour, and performances run twice each day at 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Since 1974, the Puppet Showplace Theatre has delighted children of all ages with fun, imaginative plays.
