Pay your good fortune forward when you lace up for the Price Hill Pacer 5K run/walk held on June 9 at 9 a.m. Today's $10 deal includes your entry into the race, a race T-shirt, and refreshments (regularly $20). Proceeds go to support Santa Maria Community Services and Price Hill Will, two collaborative organizations working to strengthen the Price Will community. The race begins and ends at Elder High School's Schaeper Center, meandering 3.1 miles through neighborhood streets, and you're welcome to stick around after the race for recovery food and drinks and the announcement of the men's, women's, and age group divisional winners.
