Electing to enter this unique race is not for the faint-of-heart. Candidates are put through a gauntlet that makes the mud slinging of primary season look like a bubble bath. You'll slog through more than three miles of varied terrain, mud pits, walls, and surprise obstacles. At the finish line, everyone gets to enjoy live music from the Bob Hope Band, food from Buffalo Wild Wings, and plenty of beer. And if all that dirty makes you feel too grimy, just know all the proceeds go to the Pasco Pediatric Foundation, an organization that provides medical help to children and young adults -- now that's a platform everyone can agree on.
