During this two-hour workshop you’ll be guided through the basic fundamental steps of wheel throwing, including centering, opening and raising walls. As you begin to fully grasp these techniques, you'll seamlessly transition into more complex structures, creating basic shapes like bowls, cups, plates, vases and a variety of cylindrical shapes. This loosely structured class is perfect for all skill levels. Owner and clay enthusiast Dave Norinsky is patient and encouraging and will guide you every step. If this isn’t your first time with clay, Dave will give you the freedom to explore your creativity and bring to life your own unique vision with as little or as much coaching as you require. The clay is plentiful, so you can walk away with as many pieces as you have time to make. A plethora of top-notch tools and a solid selection of glazes are also at your disposal to put the finishing touches on your pottery.
