If there’s one place which offers consistently tender and perfectly cooked steaks, then that’s Outback Steakhouse. Such Australian-inspired restaurant never fails to make your mouth water with their luscious menu. The delicious aroma wafting from their kitchen doesn’t help your growing appetite either.
Outback Steakhouse’s History
In 1987, Tim Gannon, Bob Basham and Chris Sullivan established Multi-Venture Partners, Inc. in Florida making it possible for Outback Steakhouse to open its first restaurant in 1988. It only took 15 months to open five more promising restaurants. It grows so fast that by 1993, Outback has more than 100 restaurants in 15 U.S. states. Due to the increasing popularity of the restaurant, the company ventures to various locations across the globe, including South Korea and Canada. Outback Steakhouse, Inc. became OSI Restaurant Partners, Inc. in 2006. Currently, Bloomin’ Brands is the parent company of Outback Steakhouse.
