Why You Should Go: Some skills (learning new languages, sharing, and finger painting) are best learned as a tot – kids have the ability to pick up on these tricks much easier than stubborn adults. Dancing is similar. Give your little ones (kindergarten-5th grade or 6th-9th grade) the gift of dance with Oneaka Dance Company’s Youth African Performing Arts Camp (starting June 18 or June 25). A Day at Camp: Camp is held from 8am-1pm Mon-Fri and consists of 5 rotating activities, African Dance, African Music, African Song, African Ballet Theater, and African Arts & Crafts. What You Should Know: Little ones can also enjoy complimentary lunch, a signature camp T-shirt and a bright and energetic grand finale, with a large performance utilizing all of the artistic skills they’ve learned.
