New York City Rock Camp Coupons and Deals
You wish you could pass down a musical talent your child, but alas, all you can play is the radio. Nurture your kid's potential with today's deal from Youth Empowerment through Arts and Humanities (YEAH!): Pay $62 (regularly $125) and your little rocker or rockette will attend a Rock Block session, or pay $175 (regularly $375) for a full year -- three sessions. During this exciting program, children ages 10 to 17 will learn the art of music by playing with a band. Students are placed according to instrument choice, experience (though none is necessary), and availability; the band members will decide what style of music they will play, what the name will be, and more. The nine-week session culminates in a rock 'n' roll showcase for friends and family. Choose one of two locations, Murfreesboro or Nashville, where students will meet with their band on Saturday for 1.5 hours. Fall session starts September 15, while dates for the winter (January) and spring (March) sessions will be announced at a later date. One day it could be your youngster's music coming through your speakers. Want more? Check out YEAH! on Facebook.
