Word Play, the exciting conclusion of Musiqa's 2012-2013 season will feature a first-time collaboration: the world premiere of "Sphinx," a one-act play by 2012 Susan Smith Blackburn Prize-winner Jennifer Haley, directed by Leslie Swackhamer with incidental music by Musiqa Artistic Director Anthony Brandt. The program also includes the world premiere of La Pilas, a new string trio by Musiqa Artistic Board member Rob Smith, a work by American composer Roshanne Etezady, Quelques Fleurs by Musiqa Artistic Board member Karim Al-Zand and a new work by Dutch avant-pop composer Jacob TV.
