With the addition of some fruit and spice flavors to the traditional mead ingredients of water, yeast, and honey, he has created a number of homemade mead wine blends that range from the dry to the very sweet.You'll begin your Romance Package with a tour of the Moonlight Meadery grounds, learning about the history of mead and the fermentation process. After, you and your guest will enjoy a taste of the signature mead before sampling various fruit and spiced mead varieties. A cheese and cracker platter will also be provided with suggested pairings with each wine.After eight tastings, you should have a good idea of which mead wine you prefer.
