Momed Coupons and Deals
The Old World meets the new at Momed—which stands for “modern Mediterranean”—on one of Beverly Hills busiest shopping streets. The menu draws from centuries-old recipes from the crossroads of the spice trade, using delicious ingredients from Turkey, Greece, Israel, Cyprus, Lebanon, and Egypt. In contrast, the decor could not be more 21st century, with stark white marble and stainless steel interiors in a café environment that includes a walk-up counter, communal tables inside, and an ample front patio for dining and mingling. After toying with the idea for years, Iranian Armenian owner Alex Sarkissian left the clothing business, where he was an executive at Dolce & Gabanna, to launch one of the best dining concepts in town. You’ll fight over the pide flatbreads—fresh out of the wood-burning oven on display—that are more like a thinly pounded calzone that can be stuffed with halloumi cheese or figs and sprinkled with arugula. All the breads (and even potato chips), are made in-house, including the pita wrapped around crispy duck shawarma.
The Mediterranean Sea has provided trade routes for spices, fertile ground for crops, and a happy home for several ancient civilizations. Get a taste of this storied region without losing sight of your own beloved body of water -- the Pacific. For $38, enjoy dinner for two at Momed, including one warm mezze, two house plates, and two sparkling cocktails (a $78 value). This Beverly Hills restaurant serves up Mediterranean cuisine with a modern twist. Try a warm mezze of Greek meatballs, parsnip hummus, baleela (crispy chickpeas), or zucchini fritters. Then, move on to the wood-roasted salmon, chicken breast skewers, spicy grilled shrimp, or lamb steak. Our can't-miss dish? The Momed duck shawarma served with fresh-made Momo chips. Finish with a mimosa, Bellini, or marry berry cocktail -- each a perfect cap on the wave of flavor. Want more? Check out Momed on Facebook.
