Even though prohibition shut it down, the brewery was re-established in 2007, and a mere four months and four beers in, Mission was awarded two national medals at the Great American Beer Festival. Fast forward to 2010 and their plunder of precious beer medals had grown to three Gold, three Silver and two Bronze medals. A dream come true for long-time die-hard home brewers.
