Mez, the latest venture from Chapel Hill Restaurant Group and the state's first LEED Designated Restaurant, fills its warm, orange-accented dining room with plenty of authentic Mexican eats. Try it out with today's offer: Pay $45 ($90 value) to sit down to a special five-course beer dinner on February 26 or 28. The evening kicks off at 6:30 p.m. with complimentary chips and salsa and a cash bar. At 7 p.m., you'll sit down for the main event: five flavorful courses paired with five sudsy beers from New Belgium Brewing. Chef du Cuisine Michael Barnes prepared the menu, taking traditional Mexican recipes and giving them a modern twist, using locally grown and organic ingredients whenever possible.
