The fabulous casts of many of Chicago's biggest shows come together on a single stage for this benefit concert celebrating the release of the CD "Season of Carols 2013". Performers from "The Color Purple, Mary Poppins, Old Jews Telling Jokes, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" and Larry Adams from "A Christmas Carol" are set to entertain with holiday tunes like those captured on the album, which include a fun take on "Baby, It's Cold Outside," a medley featuring "The First Noel" and much more. Students from the Chicago Academy for the Performing Arts, singer/songwriters Jess Godwin and Cory Goodrich, and others will be on hand to entertain as well. The proceeds from the concert and CD are earmarked to help area theater artists in need.
